The position: The purpose of this role is to effectively increase sales volume and revenue through the sales of the full product range, existing and new, year on year whilst maintaining strong customer relations and increasing market share.

Salary:

  • Trainee: £25,000 - £35,000, bonus: £7k OTE uncapped
  • Experienced: £35,000 - £45,000, bonus £10k OTE uncapped

Area working: South London and South East which will be south of the Thames including Kent, Surrey and Sussex

Products: Laparoscopic instruments for general, gynaecology and colorectal surgery

The role:

You will be selling to Gynaecology and General Surgeons within the NHS and private sector. You will proactively seek all key stakeholders at both local NHS hospitals; NHS procurement level and in the private independent hospital sector. The key stakeholders will be clinicians (nurse and consultant), procurement, hospital administration and budget holder level. You will be responsible for building relationships with clinicians, procurement and sterilisation staff throughout the sales and negotiation process. The role also includes maintaining and identifying new business opportunities to increase sales, grow market share and exceed target. 

Your experience:

You must have huge drive, professionalism and a passion for surgery (with a specific interest in laparoscopy). Ideally you will have clinical surgical experience e.g. a nursing or ODP background. You will be of interest if you are a committed Science related or Business Graduate who has thoroughly researched the industry and has some commercial sales experience. Any medical device sales would be beneficial, as well as the ability to work with and influence multiple stakeholders.
