The Position: This Product Support Specialist role is a maternity cover contract up to 9 months, starting in April 2018.

Basic salary: c£25,000
Area working: North West and North Wales
Products: Hernia support belts and ostomy underwear
The Support Product Specialist is responsible for assisting the Stoma Nurse in the fitting of standard and bespoke hernia products both in hospitals and patient's homes. You will also promote and display company products by attending Stoma patient information events in hospitals and other venues held by the Stoma Association.
You will be developing new and existing relationships with clients and business partners, achieving sales across the product portfolio, developing business plans and targeting accounts to ensure business growth. It is important you maintain up to date knowledge of the products, competitor products/ activities and market changes. You will be tasked with establishing excellent relationships and providing a high standard of service to external and internal customers at all times, especially Stoma Nurses to develop a strong mutually beneficial relationship.
You will have the ability to accurately assess and understand patients' individual needs and requirements. It is important you have excellent communication skills with the ability to listen with empathy and build relationships. Experience of working in a Stoma environment would be extremely beneficial. Other experience of working in a caring/health profession is desirable, along with any experience of working in a sales environment.
