Basic salary: £50,000 - £55,000
Bonus: annual 15% of basic based on KPI's / objectives
Area working: office based with 10 - 15 days travel per month
Products: Critical care (infusion sets), oxygen mask, peripheral IV connectors, urogynae (pessaries for pelvic organ prolapse, urodynamic products and suprapubic catheter)
Reporting directly to the Sales and Marketing Director you be reponsible for developing the business in Europe where you will be focusing on 5 to 6 markets. As well as looking after exisitng distributors you will research, make contact with and appoint appropriate distribution partners within the territory. Working collaboratively with these distributors you will help them to drive sales in their respective countries. This could include working with them on a variety of fronts such as engaging with their management teams on strategy or accompanying their reps on customer visits to support them with product information. You will communicate with the Product Managers on issues that existing customers are experiencing and in conjunction with the PMs provide training for the distributors.
You should be of graduate calibre with a strong track record in medical device sales. You will have experience of launching new and innovative products into a new market outside the UK. You should have strong sales and relationship building skills and be able to work flexible hours as the needs of the business demands. With a strong technical background you will have the ability to rapidly learn changing technology in the industry. It is essentail that you hold a current passport as the position requires extensive travel. Knowledge of another European language would be advantageous.
