What you’ll be doing:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving ambitious sales targets while building strong relationships with orthopaedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, and procurement decision-makers.
- This role combines strategic territory management with hands-on clinical support, requiring you to conduct product demonstrations, provide in-theatre technical assistance, and deliver CPD training programmes to healthcare professionals.
- You'll develop comprehensive territory plans, maintain detailed CRM records, and stay current with clinical developments while supporting medical conferences and building relationships with key opinion leaders.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, clinical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively within NHS procurement frameworks while identifying new business opportunities and ensuring optimal product availability for urgent procedures.
Here’s what you need:
- You'll have at least 2-3 years’ experience working in sales or clinical support within the Sports Medicine market, and understand soft tissue, ligament repairs, and tendon repairs.
- If you're a scrub nurse with strong Sports Medicine knowledge we'd love to hear from you as well!
- You'll need to be able to learn the product and work independently as there will not be day-to-day shadowing or extensive training due to the team being relatively new and the patch geographically isolated from the head office.
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (flexible)
Bonus: C£15-20k TBC
Car policy: company car - hybrid or electric (could accommodate a car allowance c £700pm TBC)
