The Position:  
?80% time in Cath Labs
?Liaising with Electro Physiologists and Cardiac Physiologists and wider members of the cardiac time
?Most of the role is being next to the patient and helping the Physician with the implant
?Training and Education / Support
?Maintaining and developing business with customers

Area Working: – BASED WM  - Covering Birmingham (or West of Birmingham) - will need to travel up to Manchester and down to Bristol occasionally

Product / Service: .Transcatheter Aortic Valves and Transcatheter Pulmonic Valves 

Description (Person): You should be a qualified TAVI Nurse Specialist, Cath Lab Nurses, Cardiology Nurses
Sonographers, Cardiac Physiologist, Registered Nurse with Cardiac experience, Echocardiographer, 
Radiographer or currently be working in a Similar role for a competitor. 


Description (Job):   The primary focus of the SH Technical Consultant role is to provide excellent clinical/technical support and education for  TAVI and Melody implanters/implanting teams, to ensure  best practice guidelines on the use of products are followed and best clinical outcomes achieved for patients whilst enhancing the company's  reputation in the market. 
Provides clinical implant support to the clinical team in theatre/cath lab, advising, guiding and shaping the intervention. This includes; support of pre-op case planning (including sizing support through use of 3Mensio), loading of the valve bioprosthesis, intra-op technical guidance and recommendations in-line with company best-practices, the post-op review process, etc. 
Plans and prioritises clinical, technical and educational programmes with review and input from SH Sales Team and other functional groups, i.e. marketing, reimbursement, regulatory, clinical, education etc., consistent with the UKI Business Plan.
Provides technical support to the customers across the full UK & Ireland region, both before and after the implant of the device. Provides troubleshooting support to field sales force and customers on request.
Participates in the development of employee and customer training/education programmes. Prepares study materials, plans, organises and conducts training to customers (physicians, technicians and nurses) in collaboration with the sales force/network team.
Coordinates and liaises with the SH team (e.g. TDS team/SH sales team, marketing, market development, Country Sales Manager) before delivering services across the region.
Supports Sales force during presentations to customers upon request.
Builds strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers, especially clinical customers including UKI KOLs.
Supports marketing and sales teams with the introduction and market launch of new products and therapies, through clinical review and input to sales and marketing brochures, meeting agendas etc.
Reports all account, market and competitive information and trends and metrics in a comprehensive, complete and timely fashion when requested through platforms such as Salesforce.com/APDR/SAlesForce1 App. 
Reports immediately and accurately (via MPXR if necessary) all customer or product related events (e.g., customer feedback, product complaints, legal issues and risks etc).
Carries out all administrative duties and all necessary reports in a timely and diligent manner, (i.e. boot stock reports, stock movement forms etc.). 
Attends all required regional and national meetings when requested to.
