Contract Sales Manager

Job Description

The role: This is a split role between the office and field-based activities. The ideal candidate will be Midlands based. In return for your skills and experience you can expect a competitive basic salary, bonus and benefits package

Who Should Apply?

  • People with NHS sales experience.
  • Any experience of selling service contracts would be an advantage but is by no means essential.
  • Candidates based in the Midlands area and are happy with regular commutes to the Birmingham office.

Basic Salary: c£30,000

Area working: Split office and field-based - must be commutable to Birmingham

Product / Service: Service Contracts for measuring/weighing equipment, vital signs monitors, body composition analysers and ECG machines

Your experience:

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with NHS in particular any working knowledge of Engineering, EBME departments and procurement would be an advantage, as would experience of selling and managing service packages.

You should be able to work proactively in a fast-paced environment, having excellent communication skills. Able to demonstrate a proven ability in a sales environment and have strong IT knowledge with an aptitude to working flexibly and have a desire to continually learn and develop.

The role:

The main duties and responsibilities of the role are: 

  • Identify and develop service contract opportunities across our NHS, private health customers and Nursing Homes on a national basis.
  • Work with the Field Service Team Leader to develop and manage the performance of existing contracts and be fully responsible for the retention and renewal of all our service contracts.
  • Drive equipment and connectivity sales through our service packages. 
  • Develop new service contract packages for all products and drive the sales of these contracts.
  • Identify areas for business development and improvement on our service packages and work with the extended team to implement positive changes.
  • Work alongside our Inside Sales Team to identify and develop leads, potential growth markets plus account management.
