Business Development Manager (Territory Manager) - Pressure Care

Job Description

The Company:  My client is a is a British manufacturing company, providing mattresses, cushions and various accessories to help treat and prevent pressure injuries. They work closely with clinicians and industry professionals in order to develop and provide products that will enhance both the quality and comfort of patient life.  

The position: My client is looking for a  Business Development Manager to successfully maintain and grow their business throughout the sales territory. This role represents an excellent opportunity to work in both a clinical and procurement based environment and is an interesting and diverse sales role.

Basic salary: c£37,000

Bonus: £6,000 (uncapped)

Area working: South West (not South Wales)

Products: Pressure Area Care Mattresses, Cushions, Boots and accessories

Your experience:

  • You should have previous/current healthcare sales experience, ideally this will be both hospital and community based but either/or will also be considered.
  • Any prior pressure area care or similar experience would be an advantage, as would any experience of negotiating with procurement.

The role:

  • Selling/demonstrating Pressure Area Care equipment and accessories within the acute and community health environment.
  • You will be responsible for both the clinical demonstration/education to hospital nursing staff/nursing homes staff  as well as the negotiations with procurement departments and loan stores.
