Job Description

The Opportunity:

You will be joining one of the most successful field sales teams in the industry. This position is with the market leader in both their continence and ostomy divisions and has developed excellent relationships with customers providing you with a solid foundation to build your career. In July, one of the team won the Best Specialist Care Sales Representative in the PharmaTimes awards with 3 more of the team nominated. This is a result of their continued investment (more than 3 times the UK average) into learning and development programmes.

Basic Salary: Negotiable

Bonus: c20% + various incentives such as holidays, theatre tickets, cash awards

Benefits: car, pension, healthcare and dental, death in service (4x salary), share incentive plan, childcare vouchers

The role:

This company believes in empowering field teams to do what is right for their customers. Therefore you will work closely with your Regional Business Leader, NHS Partnership Manager and Nursing team to create and manage account specific plans to grow your business. Your customers will be mainly Specialist Nurses, but you should be able to identify other customer groups that are important to your business.  

To ensure you are successful, my client is also expanding the marketing team who will provide you with innovative products and engaging programmes to develop your business. To enhance your already excellent sales skills we will provide you with market leading training and development opportunities too. This is a job for someone who is ambitious, desires success and is willing to take responsibility for growing their business.

Your experience:

  • This is a job for someone who is ambitious, desires success and is willing to take responsibility for growing their business.
  • You will be a highly experienced sales person in either pharmaceuticals or healthcare at a senior level so your current role might be working as a Hospital Specialist or Key Account Manager.
  • Sales experience within ostomy or the continence market would be desirable.
  • It would also be particularly useful if you have worked with and sold to Nurse Specialists in a secondary care and primary care environments.
  • Alternatively, you may be considered if you are a strong Graduate who has fully researched the role and ideally has some kind of sales experience.
  • You should thrive on working autonomously and in a highly competitive therapy area, and you should be passionate about what you do.
