Job Description

The Position: This is an exciting and busy role in which you will use your exceptional relationship building skills to drive recommendations, use of blood glucose monitoring products by providing support services and solutions to HCP’s across Secondary Care (Diabetes Specialist Teams and associated depts.), Primary Care (Practice Nurses, GPwSIs and some CCG customers)  To be successful  in the role, you will either have a diabetes sales background or  have established sales experience in primary care in the region. You should have good NHS contacts, and the ability to network with a variety of individuals at different levels.

Basic salary: Negotiable

Bonus: £16,000 (there is the potential to double this).

Area working: South London (Greenwich, Bexley, Lewisham, Merton, Southwark, Sutton, Lambeth, Wandsworth, Croydon, Bromley)

Products: Diabetes Blood Glucose Monitors

The role:  

  • The role involves maintaining up to date understanding of local diabetes market characteristics and business drivers.
  • Utilisation of CRM Technology and Knowledge Platform (Wellards) to efficiently and effectively target activity within the territory.
  • A strong understanding and alignment of specific territory activities with company/regional plan.
  • The ability to foster a mutually beneficial working relationship across the diabetes care company including Account Managers, Strategic Affairs Managers and Management team.
  • Ability to manage the holistic interface between Secondary care, Primary care and Pharmacy with the full understanding of relevant interactions.
  • Facilitate communication and execute strategy across Secondary care, Primary care and Pharmacy channels to gain formulary agreements.
  • Seek and develop projects to enhance delivery of holistic diabetes care within the territory.
