Job Description

The Organisation. This company is a market leading group engaged in the manufacture and supply of Pressure Area Care, Infection Control and Harm Reduction products to healthcare providers in the UK and internationally 

The Position: The organisation is now looking for an additional Regional Partnership Manager with experience of working in partnership with CCGs, to join the team. Working in the South East the aim of this role is ultimately develop you into a Regional Sales manager.

Basic Salary:  Negotiable

Bonus: £12,000 OTE 

Area working: Suffolk, Essex, London, Kent, Sussex (based on patch in or near to London)

Products: Wound care, infection prevention and harm reduction products

Your experience:

  • You will have an established, strong sales track record of sales and account management within the medtech market.
  • You will have knowledge of the hospital and community business environment know the procurement process.
  • It is essential that you have an understanding of both clinical and financial decision making in relation to NHS targets and initiatives and that you have the ability to handle complex and multi-variable negotiations.
  • You should be educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Previous experience of mentoring new team members would be beneficial as would previous experience in a similar type of HDM/RPM role. 

The role:

In this role you will be regionally accountable for development and implementation of a business plan to drive sales for the defined product range. You will achieve Regional Sales Target through clear analysis of the sales data and develop an operational plan appropriately for maximum return on time investment by winning new and managing existing Acute and CCG Community accounts. You will build and drive Health Economics Arguments into clinical management / procurement through leveraging HES data, QIPP & CQUIN data embedded in the trust business plan. 

You will develop relationships with key stakeholders and other key opinion leaders / decision makers, to execute your business plan (Acute Trusts, CCG, TVN, Infection Control, Waste Management, Procurement, Equipment Loan Store purchasers and other business partners, Medicines and Materials Management. 

This role will have some management responsibilities for 3 team members and as part of your development in this role you will be on an internal management training program which will see your role develop into that of RBM, ideally within 6 months of starting in the RPM role.
