The Position: They now need a professional and skilled sales person who is proactive and driven, with a strong clinical and commercial selling capability, to sell their surgical biomaterial based products in the South of England.

You will be a passionate and driven sales person with a solid and successful sales track record in selling implantable medical devices. With a strong ability to negotiate and influence you will also have dealt with key opinion leading senior clinicians. With a company ethos of high integrity and customer focus you should have a corresponding approach to fit into the company culture. Additionally, you should have the ability to work autonomously and the desire to work in a non hierarchical company structure.
You will be responsible for the sales of a high quality, innovative General Surgery medical device products portfolio including a Tissue Reinforcement products, Bioabsorbable Staple Line Reinforcement products, and an Intraperitoneal Biomaterial as well as helping launch some new products. You will manage and grow the current business within the territory (Southern England), as well as actively acquiring and developing new customers to maximize profitable sales.
You will be engaging with a range of stakeholders within public and private hospital administrations including general, bariatric and GI surgeons and their purchasing departments and proactively build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, as well as attend surgical procedures, provide clinical product training, conduct product presentations, partner with educational centers of excellence and be accountable for your own investment budgets. You will also be attending international and regional congresses and implement local sales promotion activities
