Job Description

The Company: This company has more than 25 years of 3D printing experience, and combines this with a range of software solutions and 3D printing services. By using this cutting-edge technology within healthcare they are providing innovative solutions which enable doctors to work faster, shorten patient theatre time and improve operating results.

The Position: They are now looking for an experienced medical rep to sell their 3D Surgical Planning Software, Services and Consultancy packages within MaxFax, Urology, Orthopaedics and Cardiology.

Basic salary: to £50,000

Bonus: 25% (open eneded) which is paid quarterly and kicks in at 80% target

Area working: Northern UK from Liverpool/Sheffield including Scotland

Products: 3D Surgical Planning Software, Services and Consultancy packages.   

Your experience:

You should have c five years hospital sales experience and will capable of working autonomously. You will be sales driven and will enjoy hunting out new business. Experience of selling technical medical devices would be advantageous, although those with pharmaceutical sales experience will also be considered. The products currently have applications in orthopaedic, urology, maxfax and cardiology so any experience of selling into such areas would be advantageous. 

The role:

You will be selling innovative software which enables the production of 3D models to assist surgeons with planning their cases. Current applications are in MaxFax, Orthopaedics, Urology and Cardiac Surgery, so you will deal with consultants in those specialities and develop a network of customers.

As well as developing leads yourself a lot of leads are generated through the company website. In addition, you will:

  • Develop new business for 3D Surgical Planning Software, Services and Consultancy packages.
  • Achieve Sales Target for Northern UK Region for both Medical Hospital and Academic Software Business Markets.
  • Develop strong relationship in Key accounts to help expand product portfolio and create awareness of 3D printing.
  • Actively contribute to team meetings and discussions. Proactively suggest improvements for team organization and communication.
  • Report all activities via in house CRM system.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and become a brand ambassador.
  • Interact with the company internationally and contribute towards company developments.

The role will require 70% travel and you should expect to be out in the field 3-4 days per week with the remaining time working from home, planning and making calls.
