Surgical Sales Representative

Job Description

The company: My client offers unique options for soft tissue repair. Their innovative portfolio of soft tissue solutions combines layers of naturally-sourced tissue with interwoven polymer to enable tissue remodeling, optimize strength and minimize foreign body response.

The role: This is an additional headcount role further strengthening the clients field sales force int e UK as they continue to grow and capture more market share in an innovative and fast paced market.

Basic salary: Negotiable + 10% of salary/quarter

Area working: patch will be built around the right person

Product: Enforced Tissue Matrix primarily for hernia/abdominal and general surgery

Your experience:

You should have previous theatre experience and have a real 'hunter' approach to securing new business. 

The role:

This is a role wit a  medical technology company focused on designing, developing and marketing a new category of tissue reinforcement materials that are purposefully designed to address the unmet needs in soft tissue reconstruction. Our seasoned leadership team dedicates their expertise in medical technology to improve outcomes in soft tissue reconstruction procedures and make natural repair solutions more accessible to patients.

Overview of responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development of business within the territory, achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Develop and implement robust and effective account plans and ensure delivery to agreed timescales against key performance indicators, including performance management of multiple projects in line with identified objectives 
  • Supporting surgeons and nurses in theatre with an extremely high level of product and clinical knowledge
  • Effectively managing consignment stock to ensure opportunities are not missed and product does not go out of date
  • Build strong and lasting relationships with relevant customers, and support them appropriately for the good of the patient, the customer and the company 
  • Maintain a level of IT competence which enables use of company communication and reporting systems and utilisation of relevant Microsoft Office e.g., excel based programmes for monitoring sales, investment return etc.
