Job Description

Summary: My client  was founded in 1991 and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and has quickly become a leading developer, manufacturer and marketer of medical devices worldwide. They have three well-established business segments: Patient Monitoring and Life Support Products, In-Vitro Diagnostic Products and Medical Imaging Systems. Health care facilities equipped with their products can be found in over 190 countries and regions. The company has a global R&D network with research centres in the US, Europe and China. Approximately 10% of total revenue has been consistently re-invested into R&D each year. An average of eight new products has annually been introduced to the market over the past seven years.

The job: This role is for a qualified Sonographer. The role involves assisting the sales team with new product installations.

Who should apply? Experienced Clinical Application Specialists or qualified Sonographers looking to move into a more commercial role.
 

Basic salary:  Negotiable

Area working: UK wide (70% travel)

Products: Capital Equipment - Patient Monitors & Life Support

Your experience:

  • You should be a qualified Sonograpgher with clinical experience working with Diagnostic Ultrasound Systems. Any additional commercial experience would be an advantage.
  • Experience in a similar role with a commercial organization in this clinical sector. 

The role:

My client is currently looking to hire a Clinical Applications Specialist to closely support the growth of their Ultrasound business. You will work closely with the Sales Representative within the area and you will support the sales process by demonstrating medical devices, helping at the installation phase and train our customers.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Work with the Account Managers to generate profitable sales of Diagnostic Ultrasound Systems and associated products. 
  • Present and demonstrate key products as determined by the business area objectives. 
  •  Arrange, manage and implement product demonstrations, clinical evaluations and installations. Overall you will be the product expert, in terms of teaching and presentations. 
  • Work with the Account Manager to design and implement action plans for Diagnostic Ultrasound Systems and associated products for each target account. 
  • Delivery of all pre- and post-sales product training and education. Provide training, education and in servicing for clinical staff within the target accounts. 
  • Establish strong relationships with targeted customer base.
