My client develops, manufactures and sells equipment and consumables in the field of medicine and research. They are well established and have a reputation for quality and reliability. The company offers one of the most extensive product portfolios for pre-analytical processes. This includes products for optimal and safe sampling and for the transport and storage of diagnostic samples. Various sampling systems for the most varied of sample materials (blood, saliva, urine, faeces) are available. Customers and users of these products include eg. clinics, GPs, medical laboratories and blood banks.
Territory: Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Essex & North East London
For this role, you will need a good standard of education to degree level, preferably in a science-related field. Someone with a small amount of medical sales experience will also be of interest. Previous experience in the healthcare field would be an advantage but is not essential. More important than educational qualifications are excellent communication skills, enthusiasm, self-motivation and determination.
You will be selling to hospitals throughout the sales territory, achieving sales targets by maintaining, developing and maximising business relationships with new and existing customers. The role involves selling the company’s blood collection portfolio into numerous departments, and the objective is to work entire hospitals before moving on to new customers. You will be selling to a wide range of customers including Anaesthetists, Nurses, Laboratory Staff, Department Managers and Procurement Personnel.
