An opportunity has arisen for a Part-Time Territory Support Specialist within one of the world’s leading healthcare companies. Working within the specialist area of ophthalmics you will work three days a week to support the sales team.
Territory: you will spend the first 6-9 months around North East and Yorkshire because of the size of the accounts. In the longer term, you will cover the North of the UK.
Salary: £20,000 (for 3 days)
The Ideal candidate will be a territory manager / clinical specialist who would like to do a part-time role, however, an ODP / nurse / graduate with some commercial experience will also be considered.
The key responsibility of this role will be to manage and reconcile consignments of lenses within hospitals. This new role has been created to support the territory manager by removing this aspect of the role from their remit so they can concentrate on sales. You will cover all main accounts within the South UK (see “key areas” above)
and will reconcile how many lenses the hospitals think they have on the shelves vs what they actually have, and invoice accordingly.
While not a sales role, you will be expected to help provide business intelligence on opportunities to grow the business. Your KPIs will include conducting inventory activities, reconciliation time scales, consignment management activities.
