This is a role with a company established within the market leaders of the wound care/stoma care environment. It is a role that the company has identified as being essential in terms of the organisation’s continual development, and as such is business critical.
The company are interested in candidates with a strong track record in medical sales, ideally gained both within the Acute hospital setting and the Community. Wound care experience is ideal but is not essential, particular if the candidate has been involved with selling products to and working closely with Procurement, Medicines Management, Finance Directors, and Chief Executives of Trusts.
This role involves developing and implementing strategies and tactical plans to drive sales through SHAs, Procurement Hubs and key PCTs. You will need to identify the key decision makers within these areas. Analysing data, negotiations and addressing key drivers are all vital. Conducting audits and managing formularies will also form part of the role. In essence, this is a strategic role that when executed successfully, will support the Territory Managers on the ground by creating a positive environment for the company’s products within the upper reaches of the NHS purchasing chain.
