The position: The primary focus of this role is to grow business through all commercial opportunities and deliver both revenue and profit returns. A crucial management and customer facing role, responsible for all aspects of operational and strategic management of the region.

The successful candidate will be a commercially astute sales professional with a proven track record in delivering results. You will need to be a strategic thinker with capacity for creative problem solving. You will possess a strong and decisive leadership style and be able to coach and develop your team. In addition, ideally you will have experience of working within the Wound Care area. You should be educated to degree level and have previous medical sales management experience either managing a sales or marketing team. You should have a strong understanding of the NHS landscape and how it affects local delivery of healthcare. Excellent selling, negotiation and networking skills are vital and my client is looking for an effective coach who is able to inspire and drive performance in others. You should have exceptional business planning skills along with demonstrable key account management experience.
You will report into the Group Sales Director for the Wound Care Division and you will have leadership responsibility for a sales team of Territory Managers and Business Development Managers. As a Regional Business Leader you will be responsible for recruiting, coaching, developing and managing a regional sales team for effective regional coverage and to optimize sales execution to attain sales and profit targets. You will be customer facing and will lead a team of Business Development Managers and Territory Managers to success. In this position you will be empowered to make the right decisions for your customers and to invest resources as required to be successful. This position offers a high degree of autonomy together with the opportunity to be at the forefront on commercial decisions regarding the success of your region.
