The position: The client is the world’s leading medtech company and we are looking for an additional successful Business Development Manager to join the Wound Care Team.

The role:
You will report to the Regional Manager. Sales targets are set in relation to the number of territories that you work in alignment with. You will have responsibility for the strategic working of appointed key accounts within the area you're responsible for. Sales results will be based on sales growth, market share growth and/ or campaign targets. Your main job will be to sell the wound care products and services into the NHS at the Director, Procurement, Senior Management and Senior Clinician levels and Wholesalers and Private Accounts. This consists of products, wound care advisory, IT solutions and other services. You will be required to manage accounts to drive growth - including generating and distributing usage reports to TMs and customers to initiate discussions and change behaviours. You will provide training and coaching to the team around NHS changes relevant at a local level (e.g. CCG structures, hubs etc), and actively work with TM's on driving Key Acute Accounts to grow formulary listings and ultimately sales.
Your experience:
You will already be a successful and self-motivated sales professional with key account management experience in the medical field who thrives on working autonomously and in a highly competitive therapy area. You should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the NHS environment and customers, as well as demonstrating the communication and interpersonal skills required to understand customer issues, challenge customer thinking and break habits. You will need the ability to analyse, evaluate data and build an action plan. You should have experience of working with CCGs, Supply Chain, Procurement and NHS Senior Management. Experience of working within wound care sector is desirable, but other medical device sales experience will also be considered. You should be full of the energy and enthusiasm required to make a difference to customers and patients.
