Territory Manager - Spine

1710-18
£30-60k (dependent on experience) + £20k OTE

Job Description

The Opportunity:

The company: This is a spinal implant manufacturer and distributor who manufactures and sells a Lumbar Stabilisation Device which is used to stabilise the lumbar spine as an adjunct to a decompression or discectomy. They also distribute a full range of innovative spinal products in the UK and Ireland. The management team have a wealth of experience in the spinal implant business and their dedicated customer services department offers first-class help and support to all our customers.

The role: Are you a fast learner who is tenacious, ambitious and willing to get involved at all levels of the business? Medical sales experience is a must but beyond that, we are open to all with the right attitude and drive! With an exciting year ahead and some great opportunities to exploit, my client is looking for a hungry and career-driven individual to join the sales team and cover the North West of England.

Basic salary: anywhere from £30k - £60k dependent on experience

Bonus: £20,000 OTE

The role:

This is a challenging and technical sales role where you will be in theatre with Spinal Surgeons. The procedures can be long, however, it is highly rewarding. You will be given one to one training and time to settle in, so you will not be thrown in at the deep end if you are less experienced. This position is perfect for someone who wants to be in control and carve their own position, and you will be given plenty of opportunities to progress into other areas within the company e.g. marketing, export or product development. This territory is performing well and is of high value, with access to the big spinal centres in the North West. 

Your experience

You should have secondary care sales experience, with a thorough understanding of the workings of the NHS and procurement. Ideally, you will have previous experience of selling spinal products into theatre, however, this is also a huge opportunity for someone without current spinal experience to break into the challenging and exciting spinal market. You should be technically minded with a strong track record of success.
