Territory Manager - Endosurgery

Job Description

The Company:  Join a company which is one of the world's leading providers and manufacturers of healthcare solutions today. With its constantly growing portfolio, which comprises of 5,000 different products, 95 percent of which are manufactured by the company they are involved in a diverse range of therapy/disease areas.  The aim of the role is to make sure both senior NHS clinicians and payors are aware of the value this product can offer both to patients and to the NHS budgets. 

The Position:  This role involves selling to Theatre/Anaesthesia departments focusing electrosurgery portfolio

Basic salary: Negotiable

Bonus: +£20,000

Product / Service: Electrosurgery equipment and related consumables

The role:

  • Develop sales for the range of Surgical products in line with Company sales plan.
  • Achieve sales targets set for the territory by developing winning and repeatable sales strategies.
  • Develop strong relationships with key customers.
  • Attend exhibitions, meetings, demonstrations and workshops as required, both locally and nationally.
  • Support the sales from ACS projects as appropriate.
  • Develop skills in line with the 'Challenger Sales' approach.
  • Develop and work to an agreed business development plan.
  • Keep accurate business and call records by full use of Salesforce.com.
  • Keep abreast of developments and trends within the territory in order to supply accurate information for consideration in forecasting and budget proposals.
  • Establish and maintain effective communications with all levels of staff within the Company.
  • Act in a professional manner at all times in order to promote a positive image of the Company.
  • Deal with any other duties which do not change the nature of this post.

Your experience:

The ideal candidate will have proven medical sales experience in Theatre departments. Sales experience in the endoscopic market would be preferred, however other experience of selling to theatre and associated theatre staff (including procurement) would be considered. You should have the ability to absorb and deliver technical product information in a clinical environment, have a strong knowledge of all major market segments and appropriate competitors and be a determined and enthusiastic individual.
