Regional Account Manager - Hearing Aids

The Opportunity:

The role: This is a dual role which involves managing your own territory as well as man-managing 2 other reps in the team. The market for this team is private hearing care which includes high street chains and independent owner-managed business i.e. the non-NHS market.

Basic salary: to £45,000

Bonus 20% 

Area working:  The territory covers southern England however, ideally, you will be based along the M4 corridor between Swindon and Slough.  

Products: Hearing aids

The role:

  • Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this is a Team leader role (will eventually have two sales reps reporting to them) in addition to managing their own territory.
  • You will be responsible for increasing the sales revenue of the territory, identifying and following up sales opportunities and influencing customers in their purchasing decisions in favour of the products.  
  • The focus of the role is selling to Audiologists in Independent retailers and wholesales catering to the private sector. 

Your experience:  

You should have a degree level (or similar education) and be an experienced sales professional (minimum 4 years' field sales experience in the private sector).  

Other relevant skill sets are:

  • The right commercial desire and aptitude to continue the business growth.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work on own initiative.
  • Personable, excellent interpersonal skills - customer communication/group presentations.
  • Flexibility to travel daily throughout the territory with occasional overnight stays.
