Job Description

The Company:  My client has built its success on its strong ethic of forging close working relationships with clinical customers and combining this relationship with manufacturers and their Product Research Departments ensuring a continuous line of New Product Development.  They believe that a personal service for the customer is paramount and will endeavour to provide 24-hour cover for delivery and support. They are committed to research, co-development and to the provision of innovative, hi-tech, disposable and implantable medical devices, for Gastrointestinal, Cardiovascular, Radiological Interventional and Surgical Clinical Specialties, with the objective of improving patient care and treatment outcomes.

The Position: Working as a Clinical Product Specialist across  Radiology Medical Devices/Consumables you will be responsible for all sales within a specified geographic region. You will be responsible for maintaining current business and developing new business in order to maximise growth and profitable sales by developing and retaining a solid customer base.

Basic salary:  £20,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience)

Bonus: £12,000 - £20,000 OTE

Area working:  Middlesbrough down to Leicester

Products: Gastro stents (including oesophageal, colorectal and pyloric), radio-frequency generator and consumables for pain management, radiology drains, radio-frequency device for tumour ablation and treatment of varicose veins. 

The role:

The role will involve selling a range of specialist medical devices into a range of disciplines. Key contacts will include radiologists, anaesthetists, pain management teams, gastroenterologists, endoscopy practitioners and colorectal surgeons. You will also be selling their new device for tumour ablation to liver surgeons, chest physicians, cardiothoracic surgeons, general surgeons and vascular surgeons.

Your experience:

You will be considered if you have a proven track record in medical device sales (Radiology or similar preferred) or are a recent graduate in a scientific or biological discipline, who is passionate about moving into this arena.
