Head & Neck Product Specialist UK

Job Description

The Company:  My client was established in 1996. It is involved in the distribution of specialist medical products, targeting key niche areas: Orthopaedics, Surgical,  Aesthetics. The company has agreements with world leading manufacturers of orthopaedic, surgical and aesthetic products.

The Position: They are now looking for an experienced surgical sales manager  with some experience of Head/Neck or Pain Management to join their niche market team and work in a highly specialised role.

Basic salary:  £50,000 - £60,000

Bonus: £10,000 - £20,000

Area working: UK - ideally commutable to London

Products: Interventional Pain - Radio Frequency Lesion Generators and associated products

The role:

The Head & Neck Specialist will achieve sales and market share objectives by selling and demonstrating a Portfolio of Product to service the Head & Neck Specialities.  An immediate focus will be in the area of customers will include those working within Pain Medicine, particularly Consultants and Anaesthetists.  This is a great opportunity for the ideal candidate to develop a Head & Neck portfolio within the UK.  

  • Develop relationships with key customers into lasting business partnerships.
  • Achievement of sales plans on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Assist customers with clinical, technical and commercial enquires.
  • Business planning and implementation throughout area of responsibility. 
  • Development of new business opportunities and determination of new client and market potential.
  • Systematic collection, presentation and interpretation of market and competitor information.
  • Provide feedback on customers, promotional programs and environmental changes and provide ideas to improve product and company performance in the market place.
  • Implementation of new product launches and other corporate activities within area of responsibility.
  • Attendance at relevant conferences and meetings.

Your experience:

You will have a successful track record in medical sales, ideally with Head & Neck or Spine product sales or related sales experience. Candidates with nursing/technician experience will also be considered.
