  • Summary Join a company who specialise in the cutting edge science of RM (Regenerative Medicine). The aim of this therapy is to replace, repair or enhance the function of damaged tissues or organs. Regenerative Medicine has been known as a promising alternative to human tissue or organ transplantation. These fields include cell therapy, gene therapy and tissue engineering.
  • Role This role entails selling the cutting age concept of regenerative medicine to consultants. The method has applications in orthopaedic medicine, maxfax medicine and burns and plastics. A sample of the patients tissue or cartilage cells are removed and cultured in a laboratory setting. When enough cells are cultured they are then injected back into the site where the tissure generation is required. This could be particulary bad burns, an orthopaedic injury or the reconstruction of facial tissue following an accident. The company are quite new into the UK but have already established business in parts of the UK.
  • Person Candidates hould have a good grounding in the biosciences, this should have been gained academically or through sales of biotech type products. They should have an understanding of the science behind the technique and be able to discuss this confidently with consultants.
