Their devices are sold throughout the United States, Europe and Asia and have treated patients in over 300,000 surgical procedures spanning a wide range of therapeutic areas. The UK is to be the first country with a direct sales force outside of the US, so this is an increasingly rare opportunity to get in at ground floor level with a company that has ambitious growth plans.
- Role Candidates will be selling the company's range of products to hospitals throughout the territory. The main contacts will be surgeons in the theatre environment, although candidates will also be creating and exploiting referral pathways by liaising with ward sisters, physiotherapists and other clinical contacts, as well as negotiating with NHS procurement personnel. The products are manufactured in the USA, where the company have an established sales team of over 100. The UK market is the first to have a direct sales force other than the home market, and this is an increasingly rare opportunity to get in at ground floor level with a company that has ambitious growth plans, backed up with a unique, innovative product. Initially, you will shadow other employees while learning about the product and sales techniques, before transferring onto your own terrritory after approximately 6 months.
- Person You will be a driven, ambitious sales person who has the instincts to hunt out new business and grow what is a near virgin territory for this exciting start up company in the UK. You will have supreme confidence in your ability to exceed challenging sales targets in order to reap the exceptionally high bonus rewards on offer. Ideally candidates will have some healthcare or pharmaceutical sales experience, although candidates with a strong nursing background looking for their first sales position will also be considered. All candidates must have entrepreneurial flair, and will have a driven and dynamic attitude. There is also a strong conceptual element to the sell, convincing surgeons to try a new technology that is up against some well established alternative methods.
