"In 1999 after 4.5 successful years with Smith and Nephew Woundcare and Casting, I wanted a new challenge and approached a number of agencies as I was interested in making the move into Orthopaedics. I was told by most agencies that you had to be in Orthopaedics to get a job in Orthopaedics and anyway I was the wrong sex and not a rugby player by others. Fortunately Advance were ahead of the rest in looking for candidates who were good quality successful sales executives.
